OWL RIDGE WINE SERVICES CUSTOM CRUSH EXPANDING

Owl Ridge Wine Services announces it has significantly expanded its facilities and services over the last two years and has additional capacity for the 2008 harvest. The company is currently accepting clients for its super-premium custom winemaking facility situated in the Russian River Valley.

Winery provides space, expertise for small lot, high-end Winemaking

Owl Ridge is already the custom-crush home to about two dozen boutique and cult wineries and their winemakers, whose wines consistently earn 90+ scores from top reviewers.

Dedicated to both the budding wine entrepreneur and the established high-end winemaker, Owl Ridge provides cutting-edge equipment, responsive service and meticulous winemaking. By taking care of day-to-day production issues, Owl Ridge provides peace of mind, allowing clients to focus on marketing their product and managing their brand.

The 37,000 square foot winery features a fully equipped, modern laboratory, basket and bladder presses, open- and closed-top fermenters, a 1200-case per day bottling line, temperature controlled barrel storage, a winemaker’s database for complete record-keeping, as well as analytical services. All-inclusive pricing further simplifies the process.

Wine Services general manager Terry Nolan and his staff of wine professionals boast a combined 60 years of experience in fine wine operations, and are dedicated to assisting clients in taking wine from crush through bottling in accordance with the client’s winemaking protocol. This collaborative process assures that each wine crafted at Owl Ridge is of the highest quality and fully expresses the unique style of the client and the brand.

Client production at Owl Ridge ranges from 300 cases to more than 6000. During the 2007 crush, the facility processed more than 800 tons of wine grapes and produced about 50,000 cases of small-lot, premium wine.
