In the early 1990’s it was impossible buy a pesto like Turtledove’s--not only all-natural, but delicious to distraction. With two young boys, Julie Lapham prepared pesto in her home kitchen for local restaurants. At the request of her many friends and customers, in 1994 she put her delicious pestos in jars to sell at specialty stores. Today, customers can find Turtledove Pestos and Pesto Dips nationally through grocery, specialty, health food and online retailers.
