Robinson Launches New Series of DVDs For Charity

JancisRobinson200-w.jpgJancis Robinson MW and husband Nick Lander have released a dvd 'best of' collection from their popular 90s series, Vintners Tales, all in aid of Comic Relief.

The couple, who originally produced the show, are selling the dvds to raise money for Wine Relief, a branch of one of the UK's biggest charity events, Comic Relief. The charity supports aid work throughout the UK and Africa.

The dvd contains ten of the best ten-minute slots from the series, which won a Glenfiddich Award for the best television programme in 1999. Two runs were produced and aired in 1992 and 1998.

The dvd features wine industry greats including John Avery MW and Michael Broadbent MW and the late Harry Waugh MW and Edmund Penning-Rowsell.

The dvds cost £10 and can be ordered online at jancisrobinson.com
