Sustainable Ag Expo Kicked Off With Central Coast Tasting
Central Coast Vineyard Team tasting event kicked off the Sustainable Ag Expo in Paso Robles, Friday, November 2, 2007.
Supporting a sustainable future for local agriculture took center stage at the Paso Robles Events Center Friday and Saturday, November 2md & 3rd, 2007.
The Central Coast Vineyard Team hosted a tasting event to help kick off the Third Annual Sustainable Ag Expo.
People set up booths displaying everything from reusable power sources to local bottles of wine.
The expo ran through Saturday evening and allowed people to band together around a local industry that feeds our community.
"We feel this is a good opportunity for growers, researchers, university people, all to get together to talk about the challenges facing agriculture nowadays," said Kris O'Conner from the Central Coast Vineyard Team.
Central Coast Vineyard Team members represent more than 60,000 acres of vineyards in San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Monterey Counties.
