PASO GRAND TASTE and Central Coast Wine Classic

In association with the Central Coast Wine Classic, Paso Robles Wine Country will showcase premium Paso Robles wines at a new walk around tasting event. Over 15 wineries will come together to pour their Paso Robles wines at the new Vina Robles Hospitality Center in Paso Robles. Local culinary masters will be on hand to prepare samplings of wine country cuisine to match the wines being shown. Come see what makes Paso Robles wine country distinct and different at this exciting new event.
The Paso Grand Taste is a perfect complement to the central coast’s premier wine auction.
The 2007 Central Coast Wine Classic will mark its twenty-third year on July 12 – 15. The event, traditionally held in San Luis Obispo, brings together wine enthusiasts from across the nation to raise funds for worthy causes and organizations throughout the central coast.

2007 Wine Classic Dates Announced
The 2007 Central Coast Wine Classic is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday, July 12 through 15. The annual Black-Tie Dinner at Hearst Castle will be held Thursday, July 12.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors and auction patrons, under the auspices of the Central Coast Wine Classic Foundation, formed in 2004, the Wine Classic has been able to provide substantive grants in 2004 to the San Luis Obispo Aids Support Network; San Luis Obispo Special Olympics; the Music Academy of the West in Santa Barbara; San Luis Obispo & Santa Barbara Public Radio KCBX and the Rhythmic Arts Project, centered in Ventura.
In 2005, grants were conferred upon Hospice of San Luis Obispo County; the Santa Barbara County Bowl Foundation; Partnership for the Children of San Luis Obispo County; the Clark Center Association in Arroyo Grande; the San Luis Obispo County Arts Council; the San Luis Obispo Mozart Festival, Surgical Eye Expeditions in Santa Barbara and the Fund for Vineyard & Farm Workers, founded by Brian and Johnine Talley of Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande.
For 2006, our Twenty-Second Annual incarnation, the Central Coast Wine Classic Foundation's Board of Directors funded grants for the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival; the San Luis Obispo Art Center; Big Brothers & Big Sisters of San Luis Obispo County; Tree of Life Pregnancy Support Center of San Luis Obispo County; Hospice Partners of the Central Coast; Pacific Repertory Opera; the John E. Profant Foundation for the Arts in Santa Barbara; Community Counseling Center of San Luis Obispo, Caring Callers of San Luis Obispo County and the Wellness Community of the Central Coast's facility in Paso Robles, founded by Justin & Deborah Baldwin of Justin Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles.
The total amount of grant funds conferred from the past three years has totaled $554,000.
