"Perhaps the Coolest Wine-Related Web Page of all Time!"
A 1997 painting by Robert Cochran showing the consequences of Elvis' wine-free diet, “Elvis Died For Your Sins” is perhaps the most outrageous artwork ever to legally appear on a bottle of wine. The painting is the personal property of the winemaker, who commissioned it after a religious experience during a visit to Graceland.
We, Stillman Brown and the folks at RED ZEPPELIN WINERY, hereby announce:
Ladies, gentlemen and fruit flies, as you know, we've recently made a wine, "La Mort Du Roi", from the "Hill of Graceland" - probably our best swill in several years - with a label showing the death of Elvis Presley, who sadly was not a devotee of Bacchus.
We have now put up a web page just for the painting depicted on the wine's label. It perhaps has the most fitting music of any wine page on the Net - turn your speakers up and listen! It even has a food recommendation.
When time permits, please pay your respects to the King . . . . at ElvisDiedForYourSins.com
For your perusal...
